Repeated updates available messages

I am not a computer guru, just an old man, home alone, so please try to understand my limitations. I'm mostly self taught in navigating Computer World, so there are many acronyms that I don't understand. I get regular notices from what I think is MS telling me there are updates to download. KB 3126587 and KB 2952664. Sometimes there is also a security update of some kind of a few KB's. I try to download them one at a time. The small security updates will usually load on the first try, but the other 2 never do. Is this simply a matter of MS not supporting me?
