I deleted an extremely important email by mistake on Monday, July 26. I desperately need this email. Is there any way to recover that email. My operating system is Windows 7 (we upgraded from Vista to Windows 7). Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

As far as I know, no there isn't. Is it web based like hotmail, gmail? If so it might be in the trash or archives like gmail does. If that doesn't work and it is web based contact the company and ask if they have a backed up copy. That is the best you can do, sorry.

OK my friend, thanks for the rep. Now I will earn it.
There may be two other ways to retreive
After trying everything else
Try to restore using back up and restore.

If that does not work
A system image from before the problem should work.

Must make it quite clear, system image is not for this pupose, but it will work. Everything will go back the way it was on the date that you restore.

Back up and restore is the way to go.

I am using AT&T Internet where we get our emails (most of them) and also have WIndows Live Mail. Now, all of the emails that come in thru the AT&T email on WIndows Explorer do not all come into the WIndows LIve Mail box....not sure why it is that way....on our Windows XP we used to have there was a duplicate in Outlook Express of every email that came into Internet Explorer.....I'm not a computer "Guru" as you can see. Hope I explained this correctly. We did try the "Recuva" and it it didn't restore any emails in July. The date of the email we need is July 24, 25 or 26. I'm not sure how to do the backup and recovery that is in one of the messages I saw on here. Can one of you give me step by step instructions. Thanks, and I'm sorry for all the trouble I've put you thru....maybe I can write a song about all this. I sincerely do appreciate everyone's willingness to help out.
RC.
