Solved Rid me of this Admin navigation pane folder

Hopefully I’m in the most appropriate location for this inquiry.

In my pc navigation pane for my main pc it goes Desktop, then the Libraries (Documents, Downloads, etc), Homegroup, Computer (with the listed drives), then last Network. In my secondary pc between Homegroup and Computer it has “Admin” with many of the same Library menus along with AppData. I would really like to get rid of this extra file location. It used to also have a download location that was a pain and I changed the paths for that but I would still like to get rid of it totally. I was also able to delete some other things that were empty. I think this must be something the previous owner set up as I don’t think I have ever seen one set up like this.

Not sure but for one thing it appears the AppData in that Admin listing is linked to the User AppData files. I certainly don’t want to delete it if I can’t and cause a mess, but I would really like to clean things up. There is enough confusion and potential problems as it is. Anyone know how to do this? I think this may be the default location for AppData so a path may have to be changed or maybe this is some kind of shared folders situation that needs to be undone. I can make a backup of the AppData files in case deleting it needs to be reversed. Or maybe if this is not really a secondary location using up hard drive space there is a way to hide this listing. Thanks.

Sometime a while back I somehow ended up with another account that I believe had the Admin/Administrator designation with a fancy Windows7 logo. (Maybe it was there inactive and I had just activated it working on this all. This has been over a period of time so not sure.) Both of these accounts ended up on a log on screen and I did not want that so I have it set to start without any logins. I may have deleted that other account. Not sure, but it is gone now by this screenshot. The problem I have outlined here has always been on this pc since I have owned it through it all.

I didn’t know if you meant you also want the shot of the file setup, but I did both.

Hi,
Right click on a blank space on the left side navigation pane,
See if Show all folders is checked if so uncheck it.

Also available on Organize/ Folder and search options/ General uncheck show all folders.

Yes that did it. Geez, I've spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to delete this and it was simple. At first I thought this was the same as "Show hidden files, folders and drives" which I like to be allowed since sometimes that is needed. Since I don't want to forget to turn that on I'm glad it is different than that.

I don't know if you have much time to explain to me what this option is, but can you at least tell me if this is not actually a separate storage of these files just another access of them so I know things aren't being doubly stored? Thank you very much for your help. Now on to my other glitches.

OK, great. I thought I had searched here for "navigation pane" but maybe that was just a google search I did and wherever I looked didn't relate to my specific. I thought I had some kind of somewhat out of the ordinary thing. Thanks again.
