RPC server & audio system are not working at all

I was using an automatic program to download drivers for me (I know, bad idea) then I got a BSOD while they were installing (not unusual I have been having BSOD problems) and when I tried to turn my laptop on I couldn't get any further than the boot up screen before another BSOD would appear. I went into advanced and chose to boot with the last known good config which worked, and then proceed to delete and uninstall everything the program had installed. However, my RPC server & audio wasn't working, but I figured it would fix itself once I uninstalled all the new things, but it didn't. I googled around and found some fixes but NONE work for me, none of the services needed to (power etc) will not start and gives me errors saying it can't start. It's pretty damn annoying since it decided to turn the brightness completely down and I can't turn it up! What on earth happened?

what model satellite? as that is mostly a power management driver issue it sounds like and possibly video as well, but i cant recommend what to try till we know the above. you might also want to reinstall your chipset drivers. this will show you what you are currently running atm driver wise DriverView: Loaded Windows Drivers List .

L450D, so I should just try and update every driver?

you need tp put what comes after that too as they make many L450D's it is that plus -xxxx.

they named their drivers odd so i think these are what you need:

Only one could install & did nothing RPC & audio services are still not working.

if you run speccy in my sig and take screen shot of the audio tab that would be great along with a shot of the your device manger in windows. do you have a recovery partition that you could look into for drivers?
