Solved Run Ubuntu 11 as dual boot alongside Windows

Um, I actually am forced on that laptop to use XP, (business), sorry I posted here, but other 'XP' forums aren't really active.

Okay - If it is on an XP Machine then Wubi is not the way to go

You may want to uninstall it - Ubuntu will appear in the Installed Applications in control Panel

Please Uninstall

Wubi is very tempermental on XP - It is my fault sorry

Why does Ubuntu say Wubi works with XP then?

It does but it doesn't work as good as it would with Vista or Windows 7 so I would recommend Uninstalling

Actually I got fed up yesterday and already did uninstall it.
