Hi,

I am new here and I am not sure if I post in the right place, but I wanted to know if it is possible to have the same subfolder placed in different folders.

For example, l want to have the following paths:

E:\Folder1\Folder2\Folder3

and

E:\Folder4\Folder5\Folder3

without having to copy/paste Folder3 due to space unavailability and not by creating shortcuts.

I would genuinely like to have the exact same subfolder found in two different places in the same hard drive, but not duplicated nor by using a shortcut.

Can this be done? And if so, how?

Thanks in advance...

Well, what you could do is shrink a partition to however size you want in Disk Management and then assign the drive letter to two folders and no actual drive letter. That way means that it won't show in File Explorer but both of those folders actually take you to the same place!

Hope this helps!

I think there is a way via Windows "junction function" -- however I have no idea if that will work nor how to do it if such will work.
