OK, here is how it goes. I did a fresh install of win7 Home Premium. Completely deleted the partitions and started over from scratch. Installed all the necessary drivers from OEM website. And also, did updates.. All 125 I think.!! ugh!
Well, I turn on computer, and it starts up, goes thru splash; Windows 7 Logo comes together, Then it does its lil flash that it does, Then screen acts like its about to take me to my login window or desktop, but no, keep looking at screen and u see it turn off. The reason I say that is, you can kinda see the black in the screen change.
Now to bring Lappy back up, I have to push the power button, which puts the complete lappy into sleep mode, then HIT power again, and voila, I have my login screen.! Why is this, I don't know, I don't know if this started after the first batch of updates which was 114, or the second batch. My resolution would have to be reinstalling the whole OS all over again! ( I really don't want to)..
Before posting on here, I went ahead and restarted my lappy, these are the errors I get.

Computer started ~1:33p.. At 1:36 this is what I still see on my screen.
vy13jd.jpg

As you can see above, screen is off, but lappy is still on.. All lights are green!

Well I went ahead and slept the lappy, then woke it back up. And I get these in my Event log under Windows logs>>Application.

Activation context generation failed for "C:\Windows\WinSxS\x86_microsoft.vc80.mfc_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.762_none_0c178a139ee2a7ed\MFC80.DLL". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC80.MFCLOC,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="8.0.50608.0" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.

I did take the initiative to check with my friend GOOGLE to see if someone else had done this before, and no!! Other had issues with similar things, and downloading and installing the C++ X86 redistributable fixed it for them. I installed the same in mine, and still !FAIL! Ive disabled the startup proggy in msconfig, Nothing was there besides my internet security and my Clear broadband internet. I also, boot back into windows disk, and did repair, and it said, it could not find any problems.. Ugh!!

Im lost!! Please help!

If you have just installed windows, I would start over and see if the problem continues. I cant even keep count anymore of how many times i have had a faulty installation of windows (any version). sometimes three times in a row. and it goes much further than just windows.

Well here is the log . Dam, a few files were jacked up, kinda makes me wonder, did I do anything that could have damaged those files..?? Maybe drivers? With these errors, do you think im safe or do you think I need to still do a fresh install?

I't may have nothing to do with what order you did things. Its just a good precaution to follow. it may have faulted during the initial installation while setting up the registry. or perhaps your disk is scratched and difficult for the computer to read.

Well, im back, This time, i didnt install all the b.s from Toshiba, i just installed the basic drivers Lan, Wireless Lan, Display, The rest, im letting whatever the generic for windows is. Also, the Home Premium i used could have posibly been corrupted you are right. So now im using my ultimate x64 .iso And i have it mounted to another usb. This is alot smoother than what i had to go through wen i did a install for Home premium. Now im wondering, should i even do updates.. ugh!! Too scared.
here goes!!

if you are running a 64bit OS on your computer, then you have a 64bit processor. windows wont allow you to install 64bit on a machine with a 32bit processor. also, in order to legally activate your windows 7 ultimate you will need to purchase a windows 7 ultimate x64 product key. (unless you already have) just throwing that out there. also Microsoft doesn't look to kindly on installing the same copy of windows (with same product key) more than one machine. they may stop supporting you and deactivate your product key if you do. Not saying you are. just throwing that out there.

Edit: you should at least do the recommended security updates. it is essential to your computers security. other than that, its up to you what updates you wish to run. if your not having any problems, then i would just do the security updates.

if you are running a 64bit OS on your computer, then you have a 64bit processor. windows wont allow you to install 64bit on a machine with a 32bit processor.

But you can do vice versa and install a 32bit OS on a 64bit machine with 32bit limitations.

Yea Thats what i just did. I had to install the Win 7 x86. I used compaq's disk. ole well... Anywho, all works well now. no errors, no nothing..! What gave me that idea was this: (processorArchitecture="x86",) .. this is in that first error on my first post. And i started thinking, wtf is this error really talking about x86. Im on a x64 OS with a supported x64 cpu.. UNLESS its a POS cpu and cant hold its weight. Which it seems it cant.!! So now im runninng stable at x86, Only 2.62 GB of the 4 gigs are usable! How and why i dont know!

a 32 bit OS can only use 3.5 gigs of ram. like i said, limitations. :( other than that, some of your memory is dedicated to your video card so it will reduce it even more. :/
