Used a Shawn tutorial to make a boot change via msconfig to maximize ram and now system won't boot. How can I change it back??

Resource Monitor...are you trying to limit the amount of RAM your computer will use? If not, UNCHECK, uncheck "Maximum Memory" from the dialog you was at earlier. UNCHECK. While you are at it, UNCHECK maximum processors ar well.
