I've been having issues with some Windows updates for a while but most updates worked. I tried using CHKDSK at startup and it made it through 2/3 phases and after saying the 2nd was complete before hanging. I ran SFC /scannow in cmd and it gives me the message "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them."
Here's the log it included (attached).
I don't know where any of my windows 7 discs are, I think they're at my mom's house half way across the country and it will be a long time before I'd get someone to be able to find them for me. Is there any way to fix this without the cds?
I ran the System Update Readiness Tool found here: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html and it was not able to update my files.
EDIT: the CBS.log is too large to upload (3.96 MB) what do I do?
