sfc /scannow not working even in elevated cmd

After Even I run cmd as administrator (and my account is administrator), sfc /scannow wouldnt work with follow message "Access Denied." I have no idea what I should do about this. Is this something to do with path? Please help!

Like I ssid, I did open up Elevated command Prompt, and it definitely goes to C:\Windows\System32. Then I type sfc /scannow, but it says "Access Denied".

You might try running it from safe mode. Boot to safe mode. Open an advanced command prompt using the same method in safe mode. You can also try running at boot using this tutorial:

SFC /SCANNOW : Run in Command Prompt at Boot

I have tried safe mode, but it did not work. I would try the other method and let you know. Thank you for your help.
