SFC scannow, returning results unrpairable coruption. help

Hi. Please can anyone advise me regarding this issue being experienced when running the sfc/scannow command.

The results being returned are as follow:

Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

C:\Windows\system32>sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.

Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example

You might see if doing the items listed in the blue Note box under step 4 of Option Two in the tutorial below may be able to help SFC repair the files.

what about trying a repair install it might also fix the problem.
heres a link to a tutorial on how to do a repair install if this also works which I think it does but cant remember.

Yep, a repair install would be a last resort option to avoid a clean install.

so true hey clean installs suck big time....
especially if you don't have your drivers on CD or downloaded to external usb sucks which makes more of a problem to fix just one issue like that

Hi Guys. Thanks for the responses. Really appreciate you s taking the time in offering me the advice.

Av proceeded in getting the results of the corruption on to me desktop. Upon closer look at the logs all the ones the system is unable to repair seem to be related to the windows media player network sharing service. This in itself is a little odd as i don t use the service.. More odd thou, me other laptops are also displaying the same when a run the sfc/scannow. Looking at the sfc logs is also showing un-repairable corruption in the same areas.

Av had loads of on-going problems with all me computers since moving in to me current home. Am sure one of the neighboring properties are managing to gain access to me systems. Files disappear. Settings seem to modify them selves its proper strange.....

If a post the results from the sfc logs would you s be kind enough to have a quick look through for me and see if you s spot anything that may use full to me in working out how these occurrences are taking place.

Probs will have to do clean install eventually. Just keeps happening again thou. Its really causing me problems to be honest guys. Cheers again for suggestions thou!!!

What do you suggest as the easiest method, just open up the results on the desktop, then select and copy.... Then paste straight on to site mate???

That's not a sfcdetails.txt file from OPTION THREE.

Anyways, it shows that the wmpnetwk.exe file in the "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player" folder could not be repaired.

You could try this from the blue Note box under step 4 in OPTION TWO:

Download and run the 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) System Update Readiness Tool for your same installed 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7, restart the PC afterwards, and try the sfc /scannow command again
