Show speaker volume percentage in tray

Friends, I don't know if this has been asked before. Is there a way to display the volume percentage in the tray notification area instead of just the speaker icon? It would also be nice if headphones/speakers toggled as well when headphones are plugged/unplugged? If this can't be done in the OS does anyone know of an add on toolbar? TIA

I Think that would be a function of your sound card drivers, not a Windows functions or something you could modify in Windows.
