Did you boot the Win7 DVD Repair console or Repair CD to run Startup Repair at least 3 separate times with reboots to try to start Win7? http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105541-startup-repair-run-3-separate-times.html

If this failed, did you next mark Win7 partition itself Active using PW CD then try Startup Repair again three times to see if it will transfer the boot files to Win7 and start it?

If not were you able to copy out your files using method I posted with DVD or Repair CD?

If you have any questions about doing these things which are known to start Win7 in such cases, ask them now.

I hope you made an image before doing any of this.

You may end up having to do a reimage or clean install.
But based on what you said earlier the Windows 7 partition didn't have a letter assigned. If not use Partition Wizard(PW):
(1) assign it a letter (C) and do a check file system & fix using the PW
(2) Apply these changes
If (1) & (2) work out
Now try the startup repair at least 3 separate times until it reports no errors and boot.

My correction:
Letter assignment and file system check appear not to be able to be carried out from the bootable version of Partition Wizard. You can do it from the installed mini Partition Wizard - but that's not much good to you.
