Sorry for my bad English,I have not specified... I did not mean screensaver and dreamscene but a separate program with possibility personalization even of flakes or intensity,the file artdocks is ok but me problems, the snow falls only on the left and not full screen (my resolution 1650x1050)

I finally found one that works...Geesh I used those the last time on Windows 98SE 
It's a port from the original xsnow and it's done in python.
Don't be surprised if your system load goes towards 70%...so it might not be too nice to your Laptop battery
If you right click on the tray icon you can set some parameters
