DarthZash,
It depends if it's a lappy or a desktop and even then how much data you really need on the drive. Desktop rigs don't normally suffer from space so separate drives is prefered. Lappy's I say 256gb or larger ssd and then take the spinner and sd card slot and use a usb enclosure and the sd card for back up's and extra data. If these aren't elegant solutions then the hybrid drive to the rescue. Really the ssd in a lappy is all about speed of boot, close and program launching, then energy savings and heat. Once everything is on and opened then the performance of the ssd and hybrid are really the same short of heat and energy use.

well personally id get a sizable ssd 200gb+ and install the os and some games on it. as youll give the games a speedy boost too.
hybrid drives are ok, but give nowhere near the benifits of a full on ssd. whats your budget for both??

It is better if you have them seperate because then you can seperate documents from the os and programs. I would get a Samsung 840 EVO and a WD Black.

The best setup in your case is an SSD and HDD. I have my OS and the few games I DO play on the SSD and all the rest of my media(music, TV Shows, Movies, etc) on several HDD's. What do you mean you find it slow? What exactly is slow?
