sticky notes

When I use a sticky note on a Word doc it does not stick but disappears. any ideas?

Why not use sticky notes in you accessory file?

Go to start/all programs/ accessories/ and click on sticky notes.
It should pop up in the upper right hand corner of your screen as it did mine.

That is what I am using. i can fill it out but it does not stick to anything.

Mine sticks to the taskbar and desktop screen.

Sticky Notes will basically open, expand nicely as needed, then stay open on the Desktop through restarts until you close it.

I use it as a handy To Do list or to make brief notes. - any more than that I use Notepad, both of which I pin to taskbar.

It will not stick to Documents or anything except Desktop - not sticky enough

Happy Sticky notes user here, with one issue:

Is it possible to to get Sticky away from my Taskbar? I don't pin anything to my taskbar, I don't like the idea. I use Sticky, I feel I also need it, but it disturbs me a little that it stays in Taskbar. Any change to show it in notification are instead, for instance?
