BSOD with STOP errors as noted in subject.

I had this problem in November and the problem was resolved after I removed AVAST antivirus from the system and replaced it with Microsoft Security Essentials.

This system is getting on in years: maybe it is time to replace.

Please analyze.

Thanks so much!

My husband has a Dell All in One desktop PC with the following OS: Windows Seven Premium 64 Bit and Windows 8. I also own an iPad.
A couple of things come to mind Firstly please run the following commands from an elevated command prompt:

Code:
SFC /SCANNOW

and

Code:
chkdsk /r /f

then once those things are done please run memtest86+ for at least 8 Passes:

RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Tip: do the memtest overnight it can take a long time to complete 8 passes

Alright Since it seems all of the other tests came back clean please enable driver verifier and allow it to crash your computer:

Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

Once it crashes post your new dump files here. Tip: if you cant boot normally into windows after enabling driver verifier please boot into safe mode and then disable driver verifier.

I did not check for malware and opted for "watchful waiting" instead. PC ran fine without any blue screens for 11 days.
I will be sending the latest crash dump files later today.

Crash dump files: recurring BSOD

This has been an ongoing problem that returns after months of error free use.
In this case, the error free time was only 11 days.

Please look at my previous posts.
This PC has had a hard drive replacement after it died less than 18 months after purchase.
I have done a clean install of Windows 7 since Windows Vista proved to be too buggy and I have added RAM to improve performance.

Please find the last dump files.

Thanks for your support.

It looks like your latest crash was caused by your Graphics driver:

I went to the Intel Site and downloaded the driver for this PC from the setup.exe file.
Installed failed due to a message that the driver was not for this computer.
File Speccy and System info indicated that this PC has Intel Graphics G33/G31 card.

Thanks again for your help.

WDO and TDSS scan results

I did a complete scan with the WDO and turned up nothing.
I got the same results with TDSS.

I am going to redo the driver check again.

Do you think it might be the MOBO?

It is looking like it may be a hardware problem please run through the following tests to check your RAM, CPU, and Graphics card:

For the ram please run memtest86+ for atleast 8 passes (do this over night it can take a long time RAM - Test with Memtest86+

For your Graphics card run furmark and post back a screen shot of the temperatures or if it causes a BSOD
FurMark: Graphics Card Stability and Stress Test, OpenGL Benchmark and GPU Temperature | oZone3D.Net

FurMark Setup:
- If you have more than one GPU, select Multi-GPU during setup
- In the Run mode box, select "Stability Test" and "Log GPU Temperature" (BurnIn test in newer versions).
Click "Go" to start the test
- Run the test until the GPU temperature maxes out - or until you start having problems (whichever comes first).
- Click "Quit" to exit

and for the CPU run prime 95: Free Software - GIMPS

Prime95 Setup:
- extract the contents of the zip file to a location of your choice
- double click on the executable file
- select "Just stress testing"
- select the "Blend" test. If you've already run MemTest overnight you may want to run the "Small FFTs" test instead.
- "Number of torture test threads to run" should equal the number of CPU's times 2 (if you're using hyperthreading).
The easiest way to figure this out is to go to Task Manager...Performance tab - and see the number of boxes under CPU Usage History
Then run the test for 6 to 24 hours - or until you get errors (whichever comes first).
The Test selection box and the stress.txt file describes what components that the program stresses.
