I have tried to uninstall CyberLink PowerStarter 6.x using the Add/Remove programs feature, and also using REVO uninstaller, however it does not appear in either list of (installed) programs.

The file is located in C:\Program Files(x86)\CyberLink\DVD Suite\PowerStarter.exe
(version 6.0.0.3316)

How do i uninstall this app? I am using Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) SP1

I have attached a screenshot that was generated by Secunia online security app.

PowerStarter is just a interface for Cyberlink products. If Cyberlink is no longer installed, you should be able to just delete the exe file. If you still use the DVD suite, you can still delete it, but would have to start the individual programs with their respective exe's or start menu listings. Navigate to the C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\DVD Suite folder, and delete the exe file manually.

OR

Secunia is only telling you it is end of life, not insecure. It isn't a security issue, it just prevents you from getting a perfect Secunia score.
