Successful Updates Keep Installing

Good Day

The same five updates (KB2487367, KB2600217, KB2468871, KB2656351, KB2533523) keep installing every time I shut my machine down.

I have tried this, http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/186275-windows-update-fix-repeatedly-offered-update.html, and I have tried Microsoft Fix-It.

I am using Windows 7 Starter 32-bit.

Could anybody please give me some advice.

The simplest solution is to attempt to repair .NET 4 - there are no errors in the CheckSUR log, and no significant errors in CBS.

Open Control Panel
Open Programs & Features
In the Programs listing, look for the
.NET 4.0 Framework entry (depending on the exact one you have installed, the wording may change, but the 4.0 will be there)

highlight it - click on Uninstall/Change in the header
You should be offered the option to either uninstall it, or repair the installation.
Pick Repair

When complete, restart TWICE

then do a manual scan for Windows Updates, and see what happens.

Hi

I did what you suggested and still the updates carry on.

Some information that may or may not be of relevance, I tried to repair three programs, Microsoft.NET Framework 4 Client Profile, Microsoft.NET Framework 4 Extended and MSXML 4.0 SP2, the first to processed without any problems the third one gave me an error.

I have attached some screenshots.

No, you should just wait for Noel. I should of make the post more clear.
I watch a lot of Noel's work for learning purposes and when I spot something I think he would be interested in I leave a little note. Noel is very busy person handling such problems as you have.

What is your currently-installed Anti-Virus program?
What other AV's have EVER been installed?
What other security software is currently installed?

What other problems are you seeing (and if you say 'none' I won't believe you!) ??

While looking for AV programs and other security programs I found that there were two .NET 4.0 Framework programs loaded on 31/01/2013.

The one had to do with SAP Crystal. I recall this program loading together with another program (can't remember which one) that I never used and uninstalled.

I uninstalled the two .NET 4.0 programs that were installed on 31/01/2013 and my problem seems to be solved for now.

Note that SAP Crystal will not work without the .NET Framework being installed! (and updated)
