All the sudden today, my main PC started giving me BSOD with a generic "hardware error" message. I have unplugged, disabled or reinstalled all drivers I thought could be associated with this. The PC does not BSOD when in safe mode.

I'm stumped after 2 hours. I'm hoping some one can help. I can't lose this computer because I am looking for a job. That would be almost impossible without it.

To say that I am a little panicked would be an understatement.

Thanks.

(Note: I posted a newer log collector file a couple posts down)

looks like it's your processor, best thing to do is get it replaced profesionally and see if it still happens

My processor? I built this PC a year ago with liquid cooling, the processor should be just fine. Its not overclocked or anything. The liquid cooler is even bigger than it needed to be. :-(

Edit: If its my processor, why doesn't my computer BSOD in Safe Mode?

Arelem I would recommend Not replacing anything until one of the forum BSOD experts drops by and gives a opinion, guidelines, suggestion, or recommendations.

I know of no reason to replace a CPU without a lot more testing.
Seldom does a CPU go bad.

Thank you. I'll do that. Being unemployed, replacing the processor would be impossible for me to do.

I just noticed that this thread is showing a "solved" check mark on the thread list. It hasn't been, how do I remove that? I still desperately need help!

I have marked this thread as solved. I reloaded the PC, new load on Windows 7 Ultimate and no BSoDs. Obviously a driver or service was corrupt, not the processor.
