Use the Seatools for DOS program and create the bootable media - that will get around the Windows problems.

ok thanks will try that tonight... I've narrowed down the file that's corrupt, if that helps:?

C:\Program files\Common files\Intel\Wireless Common\FrameWorkPlugins\manualdiag.dll

I tried using the windows repair disk to see if it'd fix the corrupt Intel file, but then THAT threw up an error.... Booted off the cd and it loaded up to the gui then threw out

Error code 0x4001100200001012

It sounds as if you have a hardware problem - possibly RAM (did you test the RAM?)

Windows has its own Memory tester - check the Help files.

Also - you can download MemTest86++ from www.memtest.org and create the boot media. Then boot from that and run it for a few hours - see what it reports.
