Task Manager Processes *32

Hi,

I am using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

Do these processes look ok, particularky the *32 ones?

Should all these be *32 - even IAStoreDataMgrSve.exe ?

Yes they seem okay. Many processes are still 32 bit (*32) even on a Windows 64 bit operating system.

Nothing unusual.

Whether a program is 32 or 64 bit is an inherent characteristic of what it is. It is cast in stone and cannot be changed.

Even in a 64bit system most processes are x32

Thanks, just wanted to make sure that it was correct IAStoreDataMgrSve.exe for Win 7 Pro 64 bit

You may note that all the *32 services are third party there.

To make the room for 32 bit programs, there is a special program files folder in C:\, that is Program Files (x86). The x86 represents 32 bit architecture. Whereas all the 64 bit programs are Contained in C:\Program Files.

Yes, the one I was looking at is the Intel RST Intel® Rapid Storage Technology

Open IAStorDataMgrSve in Services. Right Click on it there, choose properties. Check the Path to executable.

Let us have a closer look? upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

1. Click on the start button
2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

Everything is fine and there is nothing to be worried. All those are at their appropriate places.
