Things stick on the Screen

Hi,
I'm having an extremely annoying problem with windows 7. Sometimes somethings decide that they will just stick to the screen, every now and then it will change to something else.

I've seen this happen when you drag something out of the start bar onto the desktop and the start bar closes before you drop it... it leaves a ghost image until you click your mouse...

For a minute there I thought we were talking loogies...

Thats it. Do you have any idea why it does it, because its really annoying. It done it with vista too.

It's a long term windows bug, been there since 2000.

What happens is that you begin to drag an icon out of the start menu and then while you're look for the best place to drop it the start menu closes... the drag image (that ghost you posted) somehow gets orphaned and won't go away until you click your mouse on the open desktop.

Yes it's annoying... but otherwise harmless.
