Solved Three BSOD in the Last Three Weeks

Hi,

I am on an ASUS N53SN since this summer. I didn't encounter any serious problems. But in December I met a BSOD. 2 days ago and today I met others without any programs running.

I zipped the required files as said in the posting instructions for BSOD. They are attached.
The Basic System specs are as follows:

Intel core i5-2410M 64 Bit
Intel HD 3000 & Nvidia GT 550M 2 GB
4 GB Ram
Windows 7 Home Premium OEM

I would appreciate any help to understand and solve the problem.

Remove avast from your system.


Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials with windows firewall enable.


For your system security you can also use this Good and Free system security combination.



Update (or remove for testing purposes) this software\driver Apple iPod/iPhone Mobile USB device.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I have been using Avast and Apple related software for a long time without any problems. They are all up to date.
There must be something else which causes this Blue Screens in the recent weeks. Can dump files show the reason?

You had 2 crashes\bsods,i analyzed the minidumps and the one points to,

usbaapl64.sys Apple iPod/iPhone Mobile USB device driver.

and the other points to

nvlddmkm.sys nVidia Video drivers.


So please follow my directions and co-op with me for better results.


Remove avast from your system (for testing purposes).

Uninstall nvidia software\driver,restart in safe mode,run driver sweeper,choose only NVIDIA-Display and clean,restart in normal mode.

Install the new nvidia software\driver,restart.

Update [/FONT][FONT=&quot][FONT=&quot]DirectX [/FONT][/FONT][FONT=&quot].[/FONT][FONT=&quot]

How shall I remove driver for Apple iPod/iPhone Mobile USB device?

I have Apple Mobile Device Support on programs list but I cannot see the device in Device Manager. Would removing the one in the programs list be enough?

Hi,
I followed all the steps. The tests didn't show any errors.
I uninstalled avast but reinstalled apple related software. I will see how it turns out.

The point is to to stay 1-2 days (if possible) without the apple software for testing purposes.

Because this software\driver included in the crash\bsod.

If a crash occurs again, I can uninstall it and go for some time like that.
The problem is, I cannot control some devices without ITunes. I couldn't find fair enough alternatives yet.
