Today I discovered I was no longer subscribed to the "Today" thread!

Last Friday I discovered that after an overnight lighting storm (directly over my house) my computer was broken. Windows loads to the desktop then locks up. I did the "Repair CD" but before I can get to any of the utilities the computer locks up. Probably hardware; most likely motherboard, but I haven't swapped memory, video card or processor yet so the final verdict is still out.

No Cheers today ...

Thank you MLady. I will get there eventually. You are getting the Summer Time weather also? AC has been off the entire weekend ... but back on today. I must get some yard work done ... can do a little every day or so ... then will tackle diagnosing the PC!!

No the kitchen was finalised last December, my temporary table with a wonky leg is still usable so John wouldn't take me shopping for a new one!

However, I spotted a deal on the net today and have ordred it!

Job done.
