My sister sent me the last photo of my mother, holding her only great-grandchild, grandson of my sister's, son of my nephew.

Couldn't help it, been crying and watching this photo over an hour now, Angie rubbing my shoulders.

I know what you mean Kari. I lost my father way back in 1967, but I still remember him like it was only yesterday and every time I look at a photo of him all those memories come rushing back. You have my deepest sympathies.

Wednesday update on Mike(HopalongX).
At first he sounded worn out but as we talked he came to life and found out the fluid is slowly coming out.
Got rid of 4lbs yesterday and only 2 today so they are trying a combo of Lasix and something else to increase the
output of fluids. Blood Pressure is good and have him laying on an adjustable bed so he is not laying flat on his back.

He said to say hi to all his friends here on 7 Forums and appreciates all the kind words and support.
Has no laptop to communicate with us as signal is next to nothing where he lives or location of hospital.
May be released by this week-end if fluid level is down to a safe level.

So that's today's update and thank you all for chiming in with your support and best wishes.
Somebody better get over and take care of Topper as he is getting frail with buzzards flying around.

No, I go to see someone at Avanta about once a month. Avanta is run by the Jobcentreplus and is part of the government.

Oh right, good luck finding a job, I found my weekend WHSmith job through the JobCentre website, so hopefully you have a good chance of finding a job too!

Yes, I can and do go for jobs on my own. They are just there to help you and give some advise. For example, if someone had an interview coming up they will help you with the questions etc.

I do not mind going there as they at least give my bus fare back.
