Carl, sorry if this has already been discussed but have you considered going back to college to gain some qualifications for a Job you would like? I believe many courses are free if not heavily subsidized for people on benefits. They also have evening courses so if you did happen to find any old job you could still do a course to work towards your dream job.

Paul, he's done course upon course to just fill his time and lives off the tax payers money!!! he hasn't had an paid job in 10 years (if ever) and refuses to join the army or work at McDonalds etc, yet brags about buying laptops, iPhones and lots of other tat from ebay.

He's just a leach on the working class.

Maybe he is allergic to WORK!

I don't know most of the folks here, as I've been mostly on the Vista forums until more recently. The triad of Windows forums here (VF, SF, EF) are the best on the Internet in this genre. So many talented people man the stations, eager to help others. I've been around to quite a few other forums and keep coming back to VF/SF.

Anyway, glad to see Arc getting over his bump in the road. Perspective is everything. When we're in the thick of it, it's hard to stay objective. Sometimes we need to vent, walk away, and come back later. In the end, when you've developed relationships with people who care, you can't stay away from them... you soon realize your departure negatively affects them. "We're all in this together". Living among people is all about symbiosis. And the best thing is that in time you eventually discover that you feel better when you give more than you receive. Giving is the life blood of companionship and civilization.

Our "young" SF members are determined and will achieve their professions.

Got work tomorrow (2-8) and then back to college on Tuesday.

I'm helping my step-brother try to find another job, as his apprenticeship hasn't been exactly great, told him to look on the JobCentre website and also the City Centre for Milton Keynes website.

Very nicely done! When I logged in this morning and saw the poppy I kind of figured that was the reason for it. I didn't personally know anyone who served in WW I, but my dad and a few of my uncles served in WW II.
