Thanks Kari, I am going to use OVI.

D/L'ed it for my phone a while back but, didn't use it much, been using explorer to get photos and videos.

Will check it out a little more.

Think I'll have to look into Ovi Kari, I have an account as I have a Nokia although it's an old model 2630.

I have PC Suite on here but when I went to transfer some photo's from the phone to computer it wouldn't connect even though it's worked before.

My Bluetooth dongle lights up when connected and flashes when trying to connect the phone.
The PC is listed under Paired Devices on the phone and the phone shows when I look in PC Suite but the silly pair wont talk to each other.

I'm wondering if the dongle has shot it, although it's not been used that much so it can't be worn out. :confused:

Joan, connection issues between a Nokia phone and PC Suite are often fixed when you restart both. Turn phone off and on again, end the PC Suite process and start the app again. Be sure to end PC Suite process, it often stays resident even if it looks that you have shut down the application.

Also, with Win7, be sure you use the latest version of PC Suite, published end of January this year, version number 7.1.40.6. As recently as end of last year I remember posting here on SF about connection problems with PC Suite and Win7; these problems were fixed in this version.

Equally important is that you have the latest firmware installed on your phone.

Thanks for the advice Kari, I'll have to get the latest version of the software as I know I haven't upgraded it this year, same with the phone.
I'm not too worried if it doesn't work again as I don't use the camera on the phone much, I don't go anywhere to take photo's on it, and if I'm taking photo's it's usually on my camera.

It's just that daughter sometimes takes them of the children and sends them to me but if I can't transfer she just emails them to me instead so it's no big loss.

I'll let you know how it went but don't hold your breathe as it might be awhile before I try it again. ;)
