It's really cold in Minnesota.....

I just got off the phone with a friend in Minnesota
He said that since early this morning the snow has been nearly waist high and is still falling. The temperature is dropping below zero and the north wind is increasing. His wife has done nothing but look through the kitchen window all day. He says that if it gets much worse, he may have to let her in after she clears the driveway and sidewalk.

M'Lady you are always welcome here in sunny Cal., it's only 46 outside (mind, that is Cal. freezing ). It was 35 early this AM, thought I saw a snowman!

Ty ty.. I may have to take one of you up on your offer... burrrr .. we'll be in the teens or
below at night.. then in the low to upper 20s in daytime.. so if we get anything .. it will
hang around a while. I don't mind some snow... jut not the ice.. that pops the tree limbs
then the power lines....means no power for days or weeks... I'm totally electric.. not even a gas line to my home..right now that seems to have been a very bad choice.
I'll be okay.. I made a few things today just in case.. I'll keep checking in as long as possible.. so if you don't hear from me.. you'll know I'm out of power.
