Ok you cant send $500USD or more per paypal account, I've managed to get 2x$499 transations off directly to your palpal account via two different accounts

From what I'm reading under the new indian paypal terms you need to withdraw it within 7 days.

No, I did it straight into his paypal account (PM'd him for the details).

I had all sorts of issues until I did it directly and dropped the amount.

i had a nightmare day yesterday my theme went funny after sp1 install took hours to put right i installed a backup image in the end and i will put off using sp1 until i can figure out a way to solve the problem

Booh if you're referring to SP1 for Windows 7 .. Microsoft is no longer going to offer support for it... I read this in Windows XP newsletter yesterday.
So you're smart to take it off your pc.

Very good. That uses dollars and he already has a Euro so that should cover most of us.

Yeah. And it really seems PayPal has a new policy due to regulations from Central Bank of India; I got that error message even when trying to donate €20, which I tried when it did not accept a bit bigger donations.

Dinesh is one of those guys who makes the Seven Forums what it is and I am going to do everything in my power he gets the wedding he deserves. I'm lucky and happy to hear that the families finally agreed, and that I know I can call him a friend.

I haven't been using my PayPal account in almost two years; in fact my last use of PayPal was to donate a few bucks to Seven Forums back in 2009 when the supporter badge still had to be "paid for"

I did not log in to PayPal when creating that donation site, I just entered my PayPal credentials which I had to check first from my old password app backup. It worked, so I thought everything was OK. And it should be OK; I just logged in first time since summer of 2009 and checked, the account is active and verified (Status: Verifiziert, as it's in German) meaning that the old ID / bank account verification should still be valid.



I'm going to call them tomorrow.

Found these little bits of information, confirming that Dinesh might not be able to collect the money himself, and that I here in Germany should be able to that:

We will find a way to get our gifts to Dinesh! Quitting is not and option.
