Torrents never work.

In programs like Utorrent or BitTorrent they just say connecting to peers and downloads never start. My friend got it to work and said he can't remember what he did. He said he remembered having to "Activate" some things in settings but has no idea what. Anybody can help me with this?!

You have to make sure there are seeders for the file you want the lower the number of seeders the less likely it is to download the file . if there is enough seeders and you know that's not the problem you may have to allow utorrent threw the firewall, 7forums has a tutorial on that subject

It doesn't matter which torrent I try. None work! And it IS allowed through firewall! Read above to what my friend did.

I don't know what activate means for utorrent. That's all I could think of, The only other thing was the seeders are you sure there are lots of seeders

Edit: I have been using Utorent for years and the only thing I had to do after installation was to click allow progam threw firewall after installation

As I said, it was happening to my friend too, but he fixed it by the way I told you. It's something with my PC's settings itself.

Ok one last try, I would uninstall Utorrent and then reinstall it and also make sure you get it from their official site Also don't just click threw and accept all the next button's especially the last one you have click skip (I think it's the last one)

If using utorrent have you gone to options - setup guide and run the test and saved the settings?
