Toshiba 32BV500B TV wont turn on

Hi

Sorry if its not the right place but here goes...

Ive got an old Packard Bell running w7 premium 32bit 512mb mem, ive connected it to my Toshiba 32bv500b tv and it displays fine, as soon as i turn of the tv with its remote it wont turn back on. I've set all the power settings sleep timers to Never (Monitor and computer). Are there any other settings which would prevent the TV from being turned back on. At present I have to recycle power at the wall to turn the tv on.

Your tv does not support htcp. Also it could be the firmware on the tv need to be updated. Lower end tv such as yours (I am not trying to be nasty) leave out alot of features that people do not know are not there until they go to use them. If I am understanding what you are saying is if the computer is on and you turn off the tv you must restart the computer for the screen to come back up.
