I have recently installed 7 on my Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop, which was originally running Vista. Now that I have 7, I cannot find a way to change my touchpad sensitivity or enable scrolling on the touchpad.

I downloaded the Synaptics touchpad driver, and a Synaptics 'Device Settings' tab becomes available when I go to mouse properties in control panel. However, when I click on 'Settings' in this tab, the window that opens only has two menu items: Overview, and Buttons. There are no options to change sensitivity or enable scrolling.

Does anyone know what I can do to enable scrolling and adjust the sensitivity? It's very important, as I can't even type without the cursor jumping around due to sensitivity.

Has to be the wrong driver I have the same computer and there are more tabs. You can use the vista driver if you install it in "compatibility mode"
