Ultimate Windows Tweaker for Win7 - not installing?

Hi...


I've recently done a fresh install of Win7 64 Bit.


I've found 'Ultimate Windows Tweaker' software (Version 2.2) useful in the past but when I try to install it the following message appears:


C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50729\wminet_utils.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error...


I've tried uninstalling and re-installing but the same message appears.


I have Microsoft.NET Framework 4.7.2 (x64) currently on my computer.



I'd appreciate any help or suggestions to rectify this and get this software running again.

Hi Kwil,

this and your other post re USB3, are related to your new install.


As Paul said USB3 drivers are not part of any native W7 Iso.

As for NFW2, its also not directly included, you might have install it as well

Based on your comments sounds like that Ultimate Tweaker program is rather old and has not been upgraded to run from NFW3

W7 runs itself quite nicely, with very few tweaks reqiuired, apart from an SSD being installed incorrectly

What are you trying to tweak??

If the right-hand side of your screen is not blank when you do start > run > msinfo32 > components > problem devices, you need to fix that first
