Unable to boot/repair/install windows

Hi,

I have a problem with my laptop. I cannot boot Windows. While powering on I am prompted that I can run windows normally or repair it. No matter what I choose I am always stuck on black screen with only muse cursor. I have tried booting the safe mode, going back to last good configuration, and booting with low resolution and I always gets to the same issue. I have booted linux from usb without any problems, checked disk and ram and everything seems to work. I can access my files etc. I have burned the CD with windows installer, booted the CD and from there I wanted to repair the PC, it did not helped. Then I wanted to fresh install Windows, but after choosing language I am having a hang with "Setup is starting".

I was looking at similar issues on this forum and wanted to use:

DISKPART
LIST DISK
SELECT DISK 0 (after confirming Windows 7 target HD #)
CLEAN
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY SIZE=102400 (for 100gb partition, adjust as desired)
FORMAT FS=NTFS LABEL="WINDOWS 7"
ACTIVE
EXIT
EXIT

But after typing DISKPART I am not getting to situation when I can start typing (diskpart freezes after displaying version, copyright and "on computer: MINWINPC").

What is strange for me is that I can see (DIR C:\) that C partition now contains my files (previously D:\) and that I cannot DIR D:\ (nothing displays unless I use Ctrl+C). Is it possible that this 2 partitions swapped?

There is a similar thread - http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/267438-installation-freeze-setup-starting-screen.html. It seems that clearing the whole disk in linux and then installing windows would help, but I'd rather consider this option as last hope.

Do you have any advices for me?
