I don't understand it either. SyncToy could do as it pleased with the file but I couldn't do anything with it.

SyncToy is like any other program, it cannot "do" anything of it's own volition so to say that itI don't understand it either. SyncToy could do as it pleased with the file but I couldn't do anything with it.

I have no idea whether that means you have installed the Take Ownership option and that it appears in the context menu when you right click on a file?played around with the take ownership regedit.
