Unable to detect graphics card.

Hello,

I recently updated the drivers for my video card, NVIDIA's discrete GeForce GT 335M, and afterwards I was unable to get my monitor to display anything. My laptop screen is broken so I use a standalone monitor with VGA cables for my display. So after this I tried the obvious troubleshooting, using my fn key to switch between displays and holding the windows key + P to pick the projector option, both to no avail. I then started windows in safe mode and rolled back the most recent driver update for the video card. Since then my laptop does not detect the video card, like it is gone. I still have the updates installed, NVIDIA Control Panel still exist but says no card is detected.

Also I can not get BIOS to run on boot, possibly because my monitor won't display anything until it gets to the windows home screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks,

Get your Laptop screen fixed first.
You may need to spend less than $100, I guess.

I'm having the exact same problem, except my screen works, but I just don't know what I'm doing. It was working perfectly fine one minute, and the next minute it doesn't even see the nvidia 335m card at all.

Get the latest video drivers from the pc manufacturer`s website.

Uninstall any video drivers.

Install the video drivers you downloaded.

It will now be fixed.

The drivers aren't installing because it doesn't detect the graphics card at all, what should I do from here?

In BIOS disable onboard graphic card and try to run on external graphic card...
