I built this computer about a year ago. Things were running smooth up until recently. I m usually pretty good at figuring out what is causing Errors on my computers but I cannot figure out what is causing this one. I do see kernel Errors in the event log but that is only about a bug check after it crashes.

  • I reinstalled windows
  • Updated the firmware on my C Drive and Motherboard
  • Installed windows updates
  • updated by graphics card drivers
  • Ran disk check on my C drive
I have attached all the logs. Thanks in advance for all the help.

Looks like problem with a NIC driver, update the following drivers:

Had a feeling it had to do with network connection. But i think it strange since I updated the realtek and broadcom drivers. I will reinstall the anchorfree driver

Nope that didnt work. I re-installed Anchorfree. I upgrade the broadcom drivers. I reverted the realtek wireless driver since my wireless card is really Encore NOT realtek.

I did each change individually and still got a BSOD.

Reinstalling won't help, you need a newer version of the driver, either uninstall Hotspot Shield or update it to the newest version.

Huh? How am I supposed to get the drivers then? Doesnt it come with the installer? I tried to repair it the it crashed. I uninstalled it restart then install but it still crashed. I m planing on uninstalling again and using ccleaner and others to completely uninstall it the possibly reinstall again.

I'm not sure I understand you correctly but the Anchorfree HSS Adapter driver in the latest dump is still the same version as earlier. If you just want to update just the drivers (hssdrv6.sys & taphss.sys) you can download the newest version of Hotspot Shield and open the installer file with 7zip, the taphss.sys driver will be located in the Driver folder and hssdrv6.sys driver is in the HssWPR folder.

The best would be to uninstall Hotspot Shield completely because it seems to be a cause of BSODs.

Encore doesn't seem to have any newer drivers for the ENEWI-2XN4x so download the latest RTL8192CE driver from Realtek's homepage, install it and see if the problem disappears.

So close. I did update to the realtek driver after it crashed again after my last post. Then it ran for a good a few hours then BSOD on me again. I m running out ideas as to what is causing it.

That driver is still way too old, try this one instead.

I m starting to believe it has nothing to do with my drivers. I disabled the realtek device. I am not even using my wireless card to connect to the internet and it is still giving me a BSOD. It does seem the like the problem is caused when I stress my network.

Exactly how do you connect to the internet and what do you have connected to your USB ports?

Uninstall the ASRock App Charger and all other ASRock bloatware.

Update the following drivers:

Got it to work. It had nothing to do with updating my drivers. It was my front usb port that causing the problem.
