Hi to all whoever can help me :)

I have a weird problem due to opening some folders through right-click context menu from Start Menu. For example, if I try to open Startup folder from the start menu via "Right Click >> Open or Open All Users or Explore or Explore All Users", the folder window where it should pop-up, it's not happening.

What it did to my computer after I choose one of the command, it refreshed my desktop and restart my explorer.exe process.

I ask my friend who use Win7 as well but he does not have this problem. I know this is not some kind of major problem that makes my comp not running properly, but it just makes me curious why I have the problem.

Cheers.

Hi valky1e, welcome to the forums.

Was it an upgrade or clean install?

Upgrades have been known to cause issues with certain registry setting etc. Also, some more info on your system specs would be ideal (just click User CP at the top of the page then click User Specs).

Thanks for the reply.

I am on Windows 7 x64 7100 (clean install from Windows XP), however I installed on the exact day RC came out. I just start having the problem today when I want to add some programs to Startup folder and tried to open it from context menu like I mentioned.

Cheers.

Note: I edit my system specs detail.

I tried to fix it by repairing Windows 7 by upgrading with same revision 7100 according to the tutorial I found and the problem still exist. After that, I upgraded from 7100 to 7201 and still, the problem not gone yet.
