usb Mass storage device is not working properly.

Hello guys ...i am new one here ...
I have a serius problem .When i try to unplug or safe removal a device and especially wd passport essentials , or kingston data traveler , i get this error usb Mass storage device is not working properly.I cant find a solution for this problem ....See the picture

the light of the removable storages are on and i cant safely remove them .Is this a windows bug or this is a problem that i only have .,...

I can't think of a solution off the top of my head, so this will be trial-and-error.

Okay, so you plug in the drive, and what happens? Does the drive work properly?

Then you want to remove the drive. You click Safely Remove Hardware, and then it gives the error?

At what point did you take the screenshot above?

the steps

ok i tell you the steps .....
First i plug the external drive .The drive work properly without a problem
When i finish my work , i go to safely remove from the taskbar .and i have this picture .
The external drive still works i hear the sound .I try this with all my external drives (3).
In xo i dodnt have that problem .When i was safely remove the external the disk was turn of .No sound , and no light .....Is that a problem ...
Tell me if someone have the same problem ...

Tell me, are the drives still recognized in Windows after you try to eject them?

Go into Device Manager and find your drive. Right-click and select Properties. Go to the Policies tab, and select Adjust for quick removal.

See if that works.

yes the drives stil regognized .... and worked very well
The adjust for quick removal is the default option ....i have this one ...
the error told me that .
Windows cannot use this hardware device because it has been prepared for "safe removal", but it has not been removed from the computer. (Code 47)

To fix this problem, unplug this device from your computer and then plug it in again.

First, does this problem happen with many devices, or just one?

Have you set the policy to Quick Removal?

Try updating your USB hub drivers, just on a hunch.

its the same with all of my usb things = (
yeah, i set to quick removal, i tried the update as well, but nothing changed

yes we dodnt have problem with the devices ..They work properly .But when we safely remove the external drives , the drives still working ...I thing this is a problem ...I saw a lot of people have this issue

I would check all your settings first and then confirm you have the latest USB drivers for your motherboard... GL

i think that all tha usb drivers are in operating system (windows 7) and they install automaticaly

Most of my USB drivers came from another source other than MS and were dignity sign by the manufacture... GL I like to use DriverMax for my driver source but i do only install the ones from the manufacturer... GL

i cant find any usb drivers in the western digital site ....for my external drive

The drive itself will use generic Windows 7 drivers. You need to find updated drivers for your USB controller.

the driver version is 6.1.7600.16385 21/6/2006 .I try to update them , but nothing happened ....What i can do for this ...Please help mates.I try this to my second pc ....(older) and the issue is same

You need to check with your motherboard manfacturer for the drives.

For the record, this is not a Win 7 issue. I have 3 systems running 7 and none of them have this problem.
