100mb partition
I have Win 7 Professional 64-bit, when I installed it formatted the drive and created the same 100MB partition ahead of C. If BitLocker (only in Ultimate I believe) is the only reason it's there I could safely delete it... but reinstalling OS and apps is an all-day affair for me. I don't need the space that much!
I think all versions of Win 7 are adding that partition if they get the opportunity, since the Windows Anytime Upgrade means any version *could* be Ultimate later on, and it won't get another chance to format the drive.
