I wish I could go back to my Win7 RC as a premenant OS. I used Beta then RC, then installed Home Premium. I did not have a single problem with the Beta or RC. I have all kinds of problems with the "real deal" since I installed in October on my 4 machines.

System crashes every now and then. Programs stalls (things like Outlook, Word 2007) and some of my other software. I do not "game". Lots of white screen program not responding.

Will not install Gadgets regardless of my UAC setting. Hit the install button nothing happens, and all the solutions I have seen and tried so far do not work.

Several times it just goes blank and reboots.

It is amazing that before I was telling everyone how great the RC was and I could not wait to get the public release. Now I wish I could go back to the RC permantly somehow.

My video resolution will not stay set on one of my laptops even after Win7 reinstall. Never did it with RC.

It seems to me I see a lot more posts in here since people have started installing Win7 since October.

HOWEVER, even with the problems I am having,,, it is still far better than the problems I was having with Vista on my machines.

Or is it just me?

The reason why you see more posts since October 22 is more people are using it now! Only more advanced users downloaded the RC, but now the general public is using the RTM.

Try updating your video card drivers and looking in the event viewer for errors.

We can fix these errors 1 by 1. Please create a separate thread for each of them.

Try a Repair Install which is an Upgrade over itself done from the desktop. Will reinstall the OS while keeping programs, files and settings in place.
