run the program again and when it shows the same window click on view report details
and post the results back

most people i know use the realtek audio manager program you see for audio

i no because i am not familiar with your audio controller is there any pop up controls like i have for the software realtek? have you a headphone socket on the machine other than the one you are using that you can try some head phones?

nope dont have any software like realtek, i tried using head phone/other speakers on my comp still doesnt work but other machine and it works.

this is the driver that i download from asus web site that runs for my mother board
"VIA Audio Driver V6.0.1.7200 for Windows 32/64bit XP & 32/64bit Vista & 32/64bit Windows 7"

The past week i have been trying to fix my audio i had try everything eg; reformatting,bios reset,installing-uninstalling different drives. i been using this computer for a good year until i install a new hard drive, which made my computer without any sound even the audio says it working, the only sound i hear is a dead radio with out any signal

just recapping how this problem started you installed a new hard drive and it stopped working so you just fitted the drive connected the sata cable and power cable and rebooted the pc and no sound?

Yeah thats what happend unless i touch something on my motherbord which stuff up my audio or i did something to my bios setting but i already load default setting.

right. click on file top left save as text file and then compress to zip file (when the file is downloaded right click on it and click on send to compressed zip folder and post zip file.)
