Windows 7 64bit BSOD

I think it will help let me know

I have changed the cable.. It has improved.. No errors on the ATAPI. Also when i load my files or play video files from that IDE drive its loading smoothly..

But I found 2 more errors.

Session "Microsoft-Windows-Setup" stopped due to the following error: 0xC000000D Evend ID : 3

The NVIDIA Display Driver Service service has reported an invalid current state 32. Event ID : 7016

I think for the display driver im going to reinstall it again.. As for the Windows Setup how can i get it done?

get OCCT or VMT graphics hardware stress test and check your video card after installing the most current Nvidia driver

Guys I tried installing my Graphics driver i downloaded from the MSI site.

I went choose Win7_Vista64 to install on my comp but the setup is not running saying The Nvidia Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware.

I do not get it.. How can it not be compatible? Or should i be using Win7_Vista32 drivers? I tried and it say im on Win 7 64bit so i cant use that..

Im really confused here?

@Pauly

I have run the MemTest until 17Passes. So how should i carry on from here on sir?

you stated you have 4 sticks of RAM at 2GB each = 8Gb, correct?
what speed are they rated for and what are they set at?

Im sorry if i missed it, but what CPU -motherboard/chipset are you running?

MEMTEST passing for 17 full passes should be a good indication the RAM itself is good.

However, when the system is up and running with everything working together, it can still cause errors.
MEMTEST is just telling you the RAM itself is good.

With 4 slots full, this drastically increases the load on the NB, and the CPU. it also depends greatly on what speed/voltage you have the RAM set to ATM.
(hence memory related BSODS) Every board is different however, some will have np with all slots full, others will depending what type of RAm it is.

Depending on the type of board/CPU/Chipset you have ... you may need to make a couple adjustments in the bios to compensate for the additional load.

i'll look back over the thread, i may have missed something and be way off here ...

Sorry, just seen that all on the very 1st post. Was looking at you Specs :)
Please update it for us :D

Yes, please verify that the voltage and timings both are set to what is recommended for 1333 speeds.
Your board says it supports DDR3 800/1066/1333 .. Please bear in mind this does not always mean it can support DDR3 1333 with all 4 slots full. These generally are refering to 2 slots/4GB .... But not always .. depends on board.

To find out if there's a issue with the board being able to run all 4 slots at that speed,
Go into your bios, and lower the DRAM speed to DDR3 1066 or DDR3 800. leave timings and voltages the same for now.

If the issues go away, we can go from there. Have you ran IBT or OOCT or any other form of stress test? not counting the MEMTEST

I think i saw my DRAM Timing mode = Auto. I might go in and try test it out and see.

Also just to find out should i leave my FSB/DRAM Ratio to Auto, since there are a few settings for it - 1.1.50, 1.1.20, 1.1.60, 1.2.00, 1.1.00, 1.1.33?

I have not run the IBT and OOCT. Could you provide me with the links. Thanks ;)
