Solved Windows 7 become a black screen after install fedora 17

Hello

I just install Fedora 17 dual boot with Windows 7 and every thing is fine with fedora.

Now I reboot my PC and choose Windows 7 from boot list but the screen become black and just cursor in the upper left appear and disappear

anything to do ? or I just lost my windows :'(

Attempt in cmd:
bootrec/fixmbr
bootrec/fixboot
bootrec/rebuildbcd

Make sure that it sees the windows installation and initialize it. Good luck!

Thank you so much, Now I'm using my windows but fedora is gone no OS choose list at all

I'm afraid to repair the grub and lost my windows again

any advice to dual boot ?

Hi,

Use EasyBCD to add the Fedora entry so it chainloads from the Windows bootloader. Refer to this guide:
