I have a laptop with a 1TB HDD with 4 partitions, C:,D: (data) and two system partitions.

I aslo have a USB 1TB HDD with two partitions G; and H;

Whilst TRYING to delete partition H on the USB drive using Control Panel/Admin Tools/Computer Management/Disk Management I right clicked on partition H (so I thought) and deleted it. To my utter dismay I found that I had actually clicked on partition D and deleted that.

I do have an almost full backup available but I am wondering if there is simple way to undo the delete function saving me much necessary work and time.

I have made no attempt to alter partition D; in any way.

My only excuse is that I am just recovering from several days in bed with severe food poisoning and perhapd (definitely!!) it was unwise to attempt such a serious modification to my HDD whilst in such a state.
