Hm..Article seems to be old and applicable only for olders systems.In Vista/Windows 7 WFP has been replaced with WRP and mechanism is different About Windows Resource Protection (Windows)

Vista/Windows 7 uses the same mechanism then, is so weird right now i was able to install the app in Vista.

...and normally is able install this application in Windows 7 tonly your system is mistery:sarc:

Besides as I googled now,unable to disable WRP.

no clue what to do now. Ill need to grab a different copy of WIN7 and try it out i guess.

I also don't know.Try to disable all network adapters in device manager and check again,if it fail too reinstall OS from another Windows 7 install DVD,the better borrow from someone Win 7 DVD.

You mean only replacing DLL?Tried without success.Remains is not applicable.

It's hard to keep track of everything that has been suggested, espiecially in a thread this big.


Open an elevated command prompt and enter sfc /scannow.

done that already too heh, im going to get another WIN7 copy and try it out and see whats happens
