Windows 7 Home Premium Crashes When Idle

Hi, I have a laptop here that keeps crashing when it idles or goes to sleep.

I've tried disabling sleep and hybrid sleep mode.

What I've also tried is setting Windows 7 to use a screen saver instead of sleep mode. The problem is, it goes to screen saver, after a certain period of time the laptop just freezes/crashes. I can't seem to wake it, even by moving the mouse so that it'll resume from the screen saver and take me back to the login screen.

Sometimes it just freezes/crashes when idle and reboots itself, when it reboots and we log back in it reports with a blue screen error.

Also, I can't zip or upload the dump file located in the Minidump folder for some reason, it says that we don't have permission to open the file, even though my friend is the only admin on this laptop.

The driver in question is for your graphics adapter.

Is your laptop overheating? Does it need an internal check for dust?

Something could be loose or it may be that there is a problem with the graphics hardware.

The laptop is overheating a bit, but not too hot, it's like toasty kind of hot.

The laptop is pretty clean from what I see, but my client here leaves it on all day/night long.

Are there any other solutions we can try here?​
