I'm having some issues upgrading from Windows 7 RC 7100 Build to Windows 7 RTM on my Satellite m305-s4910

RC 7100 build worked beautifully the best version of windows I've ever used I for once since before OSX liked using my Windows laptop So I thought the RTM upgrade wouldn't hurt well the upgrade was a disaster kept freezing so I did a clean install completely different windows ran nothing like the RC build so I've spent 20 hours trying to get my system back to the state it was in before

has anyone had anymore issues like this???

MS Technet Win7 team member explains why RC to RTM in-place Upgrade is a disaster here: Harold Wong's Blog Site : Can I do an In-Place upgrade from Windows 7 Release Candidate To Release Code??

If you'd chosen Custom it would have overwritten that conflicting code which bollixes it.

Back up your files and drivers (windows/system32/drivers). Boot from your Win7 installer and do a clean custom install with formatting. Your RC>RTM will be discovered when the disk first scans your system and pass a flag allowing it to take your key and activate after startup.

This is the process: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1649-clean-install-windows-7-a.html
