Windows 7 realtek driver on Laptop

Is it safe to install this "windows 7 realtek audio driver" from realtek official website on a Laptop realtek sound card since manufacter only gives me vista drivers?

Realtek drivers should be perfectly fine to install on your laptop provided it is the original driver from the Realtek website.

It is the first one on the list that you should be installing. (dated 22/01/2010)
